„Auf die Plätze, fertig, los!“ hieß es am Freitag, dem 16. Mai, für die Schülerinnen und Schüler des Oberlin-Schulverbunds beim Spendenlauf auf dem Gelände der Diakonie Kork. Mit großem Einsatz wurden Runde um Runde zurückgelegt – zu Fuß, laufend oder im Rollstuhl.
Organisiert wurde die Aktion von der Do-it-Day-Gruppe Wasserspender, die sich für die Anschaffung eines Wasserspenders an der Schule stark gemacht hat. Dieses nachhaltige Projekt wurde bereits mit verschiedenen Aktionen wie einem Kuchenverkauf, Herstellung und Verkauf von selbst gemachtem Sirup und einem Flohmarkt unterstützt.
Da noch ein Teil der Anschaffungskosten benötigt wird, rief die Gruppe zum Spendenlauf auf. Die Idee: Die Schülerinnen und Schüler suchen sich im Vorfeld Sponsoren, die für jede absolvierte Runde auf der etwa 300 Meter langen Strecke einen Beitrag spenden.
Mit viel Motivation und unter dem Applaus zahlreicher Zuschauer zeigten die Teilnehmenden großen Einsatz.
